As much of the country bakes in yet another day of roasting temperatures, Alan reminds us what things make look like in another 6 months or so by looking back on his 2010 Yuletide photo contest in the beer/snow category.
I've got two pictures in that bunch and, boy, what I wouldn't give right about now for 80 less degrees, a few inches of snow (why not? it's harmless...usually), and a big bottle of barrel-aged Anchor :)
It also reminds me that Christmas in July is being celebrated with a vertical Horizontal tasting on Monday at Victory Brewing in Downingtown.
In this extreme weather, remember to hydrate, check in on your neighbors (particularly the elderly), and stay as cool as possible. We'll get through this, one way or another.
Telling the stories behind the passionate pursuit of great beer since 2005.

Beer Photos for Prizes
It's the time of year when Alan McLeod of the excellent The Good Beer Blog hosts a photo contest. It's beer-related (no kidding) and the prizes that are donated to his contest are worth the time it will take you to dig out some pictures from your archives.
You have until next Sunday, December 5 to submit pictures. It's a lot of fun to see how people like to feature beer in their photographic art.
This year, Alan is asking for more beer and (in?) snow pictures. With the 80-ish inches that we had here in the Philadelphia area this past winter, I was easily able to dig out two pictures that I submitted. I'll bet you can probably do better.
