Iron Hill's Ring of Fire Porter - revisited and revised
After discussing with Chris LaPierre in more detail, a slight bit of a revision here to what I posted yesterday.
In fact, the Lodestone was the basis for Ring of Fire. When the initial result was off the Scoville chart, they went through a series of blending experiments to temper the heat. With the big malt and slight hoppiness of the Pig Iron Porter, they found the porter to be the best match for the Ring of Fire.
