Making Beer: Barley Wine, Altbier & Kolsch Brewing
I did it! Whoohoo! I racked the barley wine. Took the specific gravity reading, 1.031. Pitched the champagne yeast to bring it down another 0.03 over the next couple weeks.
At the same time I started brewing a new batch of Kolsch. Well if it wasn't so dark it would look more like Kolsch. The cool thing was that I used the yeast from the Alt to save some money. Never did this before so it will be interesting.
Not bad for a nights work :-)
