Is it that most wonderful time of the year? Regardless of your take on the holidays, the beer events calendar always looks swell at this time of year. A little of everything from great gift-giving opportunities, to free tastings, to hearty beer pairing dinners.
Sales of my new book Beer Lover's Mid-Atlantic continue to hum along quite nicely. I have a full list of 11, maybe soon to be 13 events, between Thanksgiving and Christmas in all four states covered in the book. It's now that perfect gift-giving time of year, so don't forget your beer reading needs on the gift lists! Watch for me to pop up at Heavy Seas in Baltimore in December where they'll have custom-brewed beer per my recipe specs pouring during my book signing event.

Beer Calendar: What To Do in November 2015
Did you miss me? Somehow I took October off — completed unplanned and rather accidental — and didn't publish a monthly calendar. Thanks to those of you that noticed and expressed concern. I must've been still hungover from celebrating the ten years of The Brew Lounge.
But, the events actually did carry on nonetheless. And now I'm back with a November docket that should keep you busy for a while. Weekly Beer Calendar Update: September 24 - September 30
In the midst of Oktoberfest and brewers heading off to Denver for GABF, there are plenty of events to go around here at the beginning of the autumn season. Best wishes (and party on) to all breweries looking to bring home some heavy medals from Denver.
Also, please keep my book events in mind where I'm talking beer, selling/signing books, and in some cases tasting beer with anyone who shows up. The events thus far have been successful and I'm looking forward to keeping it going. Baltimore Beer Week is fast approaching (10/9-10/18) and I'll be there for at least a handful of events. Really looking forward to participating in their long-robust beer scene.

Weekly Beer Calendar Update: September 3 - September 9

Additionally, Teresa's Next Door will be cooking up a variety of delicious grilled food items and will donate 10% of every check marked "SPCA" directly to the Delaware County SPCA during that same time period. Special Bonus attraction this year: Bryan Kolesar will be on hand selling and signing copies of his new book, "Beer Lover's Mid-Atlantic: Best Breweries, Brewpubs & Beer Bars," which was released this June.)

Also, please keep my book events in mind where I'm talking beer, selling/signing books, and in some cases tasting beer with anyone who shows up. The events thus far have been successful and I'm looking forward to keeping it going. This coming Saturday will find me at The Beer Yard in Wayne, Pa. with a table full of books along side of some great beers from Tröegs and foods on the grill all in their annual effort to raise money for the Delaware County SPCA.
